MadmslOnViktor&Rolf...

Roisin Murphy began the duo’s Paris show with soprano musings from her latest album which eventually became effortlessly silenced by Viktor & Rolf’s opening piece...

The S/S collection victoriously proceeded with scrumptiously sculptured pastel pieces with bursts of tulle fabric among the weapons of choice.

It makes you think, which is more invigorating than you merely sat there visually letting each piece metaphorically go through one ear and out the other. I adore this collection and it’s my favourite one I’ve seen so far. It’s conformity without conforming and it’s sharp, it’s heavy but the make-up of each is delicate. The use of the fabric is actually better than the versions we see walking around. Netted tutu abominations with an awful elastic waistband in colours you only thought were found in sugar filled drinks. Sunshine Yellow.

Overall fabulous show minus the above, what do you think?
